After working for several years in the publishing industry, Lara decided to write her own story. Far from anything she had known before, she plunged into the deep end of her soul journey and chose to write about perhaps the scariest thing known to man: death.
However, even if you initially think this story is about that, it is only indirectly about it—it’s a piece about the aftermath of death, which those left behind must face, and it’s known to us as grief. The messy, painful stuff, the dirty stuff, and the eternal “voidness” (you’ll discover more about the “ness” in the book). ’’But don’t worry: I’ve tried to write it in the least heavy and grim way possible—well, as one can write about such a (terrible) topic.” - Lara
